Some of my new tea bowls from the Gustin anagama firing in November. We introduced charcoal at the end of the firing, and hit close to c/14. For more images of mine (tokkuri, guinomi, yunomi, etc.) from the unloading, check out my blog at http://www.lmkoonceceramics.blogspot.com

It was an incredible firing. We put in 16 bags of natural hardwood charcoal at the end. Incredible heat...c/12 was a molten mass.

wow, that firing was great! Did any pieces break? Seems with cone 14 you might suffer some casualties :wink:

Everything survived, although there was a set of wads with nothing but a puddle surrounding them...someone got into the wrong clay!
