Re: Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea

My apologies to Petr for hijacking your topic. Your works are so amazing and diverse, it is hard to decide which one(s) we should own!
Victoria wrote: Each and every one!! Wow! Chip should do a show off or TD dedicated to those. We would love to see!
 Oops, meant to type "each and every piece we own", sorry Victoria for misleading you, my bad. However, that would truly be wonderful to have creations by each of these artisians!

And you know Chip better than that, he is not going to put all his eggs in one basket ...

Looks like they would be a great size for sencha!
Well not sure if Chip likes them since he didn't comment, but maybe he will buy you a set. :) It's always great to support our TeawareArtisans.
Actually, I do like them. I have many thoughts on Petr's works. They are such amazing and diversified works of great distinction. It is and will take time and agony to decide what to procure from this very talented artisan.

Hi Victoria,
Thank you very much for posting this picture. It is always nice to see pots living their lives. The glaze on this cup is only hay ash on porcelain body- and sometime (like in this case) there are small, bluegreen crystals- I like it.

I am still a little bit in "jet-lack mode" after my Korea trip. We are also working on rebuilding old property to our new studio and living place- clay has to wait...We have here very bad internet connection so I am not able to be active on teachat as I would like to be...Anyway I am traing to update my picasa albums so If you are interested to see "what is new" lets check it out here: http://picasaweb.google.cz/petrnovakpot/AvailableNow# I am going to work on this slowly for few days now.
Enjoy your time

I think I shall have to buy this teapot and cups whilst I wait for a double walled faircup with a nacre interior to survive the kiln! :D

I know that it isn't easy with me but fortunately I can always blame the kiln for not accomplishing my promises:)

Here is one yunomi from Korea exhibition- may be it is not so nice from me to show sold piceses but I like this shot.

Wonderful prop--that large stone really gives a nice setting for the amazing cup.

+1, why are you teasing us Pet'r!

Your works are so distinctive, a true joy to behold. Chip and I are having a hard time deciding, so beguiling and mesmerizing ... it's just a shame we can't have them all!
