Definitely and nearly done - my first kyusu will be two by Andrzej. I think that's a beautiful beginning. I've only been using gaiwan and a korean celadon infuser cup. And grandfather (grandmother) style in a glass tumbler. So this will be earthy and lovely, can't wait. :D

Just received the lovely pair of teapots from Andrzej - they are absolutely beautiful! I'm so delighted. I haven't had time to put them to good use yet as they're barely out of their packaging and I have a non-tea appointment to keep, but they pour wonderfully and I'm really looking forward to this afternoon's long session with them. I love the way they feel in my hand.
I'm a very poor photographer I'm afraid but I'll see what I can do later in the week with my inferior little cell-phone camera.
Thanks so very much, Andrzej! This is Christmas in July.

My opinions are strong enough that I may have to seek asylum somewhere before I'm through. I'm thinking Patagonia...
I know there's a camera here somewhere - my bit of geekery excludes photography, we'll see.
Pots now quite at home and happy at their (incessant) task and we become intimate - oolongs are lovely in one, greens in the other (even fine sencha staying where it belongs, with some practice). Love affair with me liddle pots here.
Is there tea in Patagonia?

Anderzej - sent you an email. Time to bring those items home... :)

Today is my once-a-month tea/wares day. Lots of good tea ordered first thing, and some wares items to gather from reserves. Oh boy.

Resolved:
I will abstain from looking at any more salacious photos taken by Chip, Adam, debunix and company.
I will not wander into Petr's site, where new gems have appeared, and smite my forehead, crying, "Oh no, I spent all of my tea allowance in the small hours of this morning, on TEA!"
I will locate, and reread, my very battered copy of Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism, which applies.

"“In the garden of gentle sanity,
May you be bombarded by coconuts of wakefulness”
Chogyam

This belongs on the TAD thread, but I need to go tidy up and see if there's anything left for groceries.

Hi Andrzej - haven't heard back from you and am hoping I'm using the correct email - it seems to be the same that I used for previous transaction. Let me know if you haven't rcv'd. Hope all's OK!

Postscript 8/29 Heard from Andrzej this morning, all's well.
