Greetings everyone,
I'm very happy to finally be a part of this great forum. I am currently working in Mendocino, California where I am adapting my process of harvesting new clays and minerals to a new geological location. I try to use as much indigenous clay as possible in my vessels to retain the essence of the landscape from which the material came. Currently within my tea ware I focus on yunomi and chawan - looking for new ways of creating both.
I look forward to meeting and connecting with more artists and consumers.
thanks
Mitch

Welcome, Mitch!
Glad to see you here on Teachat. There is a serious wealth of knowledge here, and I've learned more about making functional teaware here than I could ever have learned through trial and error making and using pots here at home. Looking forward to seeing new work from you soon.
P.S. You might recognize the cup in my avatar
