Tea making and tea brewing classes

I am thinking of changing careers and something in the tea industry appeals. Any one know of any classes in the Kent area

Kent, OH? Probably not. I am in Toledo, and I think the closest place you'll find with anything like that would be NYC ;) I know Chicago doesn't really have anything like that, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing in Ohio like that.

However, you have the next best thing: practice at home! Read a lot on here and on other sites, blogs, forums, etc. Try to learn as much as you can, buy different teas from different vendors, and practice brewing technique.

What part of the tea industry are you interested in? Sales? Starting a business? etc...

there is the ITMA (formerly ATMA?) -- teamasters.org
they have sessions all over (incl. Chicago)
not sure if it's worth the cost
