Can we just drop it? He is just trying to get a rise out of us, and frankly you guys playing into his game is just as silly as his posts.

This is trolling 101. Step 1: Find a popular thread where the experienced members (more or less) agree. Step 2: Using bad grammar and annoying language, tell them that they are wrong without any evidence to back up your position. Step 3: Watch members get into a huff and waste their time finding data to convince you that you are wrong.

Even if by some slim chance he is just an idiot and not a troll, it is clear that nothing we say will change his mind. Why bother?

I'm not in a huff and I'm not at all convinced the poster is a troll. I couldn't really care less about Teavana either.

Why bother? well I was drinking some liu bao, reading over Teachat and couldn't really help myself responding. If it's irritating people I'll stop.

I felt everyone was handling the newbie pretty well. Gave everyone an opp to rant about Teavana again, which is always entertaining.

Teavana plant, troll, whatever.

I want to go there someday just to see what it's like. I've been deprived, living here in the boonies!

That's what I thought but no Lupicia stores around here. I'm hoping to hit one when I'm in SF in July. Yay!

Lupicia fall into what category? Clarification would be appreciated.

But super high quality -- as I understand it.

I agree with Chip. I thought everyone was handling it pretty well.

Sorry - was trying to unobtrusively have a slightly related but sorta off topic conversation with Pentox so I took out a lot of the quotes to keep it from being too unwieldy.

The reason I wanted clarification is because I don't want Lupicia, which is apparently a very good tea store, to be lumped together with Teavana and all its complaints.

Reading flyoness posts, reads like the adults sound when they talk on Charlie Brown.

People that work at Teavana who "complain" aren't weak and whiny...they just don't appreciate being walked all over. They aren't trying to be brainwashed lifeless sales people, which I have heard many of our customers complain about from other stores they have visited. The people that actually stay there and work for the company for any real long length of time are the weak ones. They buy into acting like a robot and rehearsing the same weak "scripts" to pressure a customer into buying things.

P.S.-The quality of tea at Teavana is mediocre at best.
