Best Silver Needle?
What company produces the "best" Silver Needle? I've tried a few so far, and some seem much better than others, although they're the same bush in similar climates. Your comments?

I really liked inpursuitoftea's, although it's expensive. Hou De is good, too. Teaspring's is ok.

Is the lighter white teas supposed to be "better"?Chip wrote:Pretty subjective, but the origin should be Fujian versus Yunnan IMHO.
I guess that is subjective also...
I know that I bought 2 white teas and the lighter one costed more...

Yeah, depends a lot of mood and personal taste or preference. I generally prefer the ligher ones which typically brew a ligher, more sublime cup full of subtle nuances.

Before I got hooked on japanese teas - I used to be into white teas and tried pretty much everything under the sun....and for the price to taste ratio - Rishi can't be beat. Really, simply amazing...give it a shot - you would love it !

Interesting - I haven't tried Rishi, have you compared Rishi's to IPOT's Pai Mutan and their $38 SN?inspectoring wrote:Before I got hooked on japanese teas - I used to be into white teas and tried pretty much everything under the sun....and for the price to taste ratio - Rishi can't be beat.
