I just ordered some cha hua or tea flowers in my order from norbu, figured they looked interesting. does anyone have experience brewing these? there wasnt much information on the site about how to brew (time, temp, amount). Any advice would be appreciated.
PS. i am talking about flowers from the tea plant not tealeaves crafted into flowers.
thanks for your help
Re: Brewing tea flowers
I have had them and brewed them for 3 mins English style; water just off boil. Nice caramel flavor. A good non-caffeine choice.
Re: Brewing tea flowers
So should i use 160-165 water like i do with a white or should i go hotter? Were you able to get multiple infusions brewing western style?
