I would like to listen to authentic Japanese music while enjoying Matcha and Sencha. Any suggestion on what CDs to purchase?

I particularly like shakuhachi music (japanese flute) myself.
My personal favorite tune is a traditional one called Sakura.
I'm not sure if he has any albums out but a really famous player is John Singer.
Give it a shot, you may like it!

I bought a CD called "Lullaby for the Moon" with shakihachi and koto from Amazon. Very mellow and meditative, I recommend it.

Well I don't have any traditional japanese music to mention, however, I do like the Memoirs of a Geisha soundtrack!
