My Tribute to Shincha/new song called earl grey and snow bud

by devites » May 11th, '08, 00:20

I was so inspired and had such good vibes going through me after drinking some shincha that I sat down and wrote a song. It took about 4 hours, so enjoy!
Its called Tea and Jam because i was basically jamming and sipping tea. I decided today that I would start working on a cd called Second Steep mostly instrumentals since I am a lousy singer. Sorry its kind of quiet.

Jazz piano and tea just go so well together. That was a very nifty piece.

Beautiful and evocative. Thank you so much!

Can I say, I just love how TeaChat is a locus for people to share their love of tea through art - from devites's piano composition to Tenuki's still-life photographs. It's fantastic.

Yes, that seems to be more and more true each month! There never used to be so much stuff and variety and expertise. It is really getting to be sort of coffee house (pardon the word) location.

Really lovely piece of music. Perhaps I'll put together a little guitar piece dedicated to tea (or atleast thats what we'll say  ). I just might have a good long pu session and than see what inspiration comes out of that...

Oh god I hope it is not becoming too coffee housey. Please no free verse poetry. Thanks for the compliments. If you pm me your email I can send you the AAC (itunes).
