Looking for Japanese tea vendors/dealer in European Union

by sugataishi » Sep 2nd, '17, 01:48

Hi everybody,
I have had a bad experience with customs in Poland while buying tea in Japan - I had to pay a huge tax for buying outside EU.
Do you recomend any good dealer of Japanese tea within EU?
Thanks for help.

Here are some ideas for Japanese teas sold outside of Japan. Not sure which country you are in, as I couldn't find an introduction from when you joined.

Hi Sugataichi,

I can relate to your plight. Here in Spain we have a similar problems when buying teas from shops outside EU. It is not so much the import tax or VAT but the customs agent surcharges and paperwork that are a problem.

One vote for Postcard Teas.

Find enclosed some links to tea shops in Spain with which I have good experiences and may be of help:
Hope it helps.

Pity you have tax problems. In czech we have no tax on tea. I ordered many times from yunomi.life especially their surprise teas are super fun and great value
