so does all this stuff have the SC taste approval attached to it? You drink this stuff often?
Looking forward to checking out some of that pu and aged oolong.

Many say "the money is in the list." That is, your emailing list.
No question that having a newsletter increases sales. If there is a rare person that gets annoyed by it that's meaningless when you consider you'll get many more conversions as a result of having a newsletter. And it's easy to unsubscribe from anyways.
You may also consider having a blog. This could increase the number of people on your mailing list and increase exposure to your shop.
Though it's obvious: Newsletters are great for when you get new teas in or when you have promotions. Newsletter = increased revenue.

lol. You guys have preempted all my concerns. You have me convinced. A newsletter will be in the works as soon as I have finished fleshing out my initial offerings.

Yes, they have my approval, BUT only relative to their price points of course. I only offer teas which I've sampled and selected myself from the endless options available here. Don't let the prices fool you (if they seem low), being based in Taiwan has its advantages. Hmm...I should mention this somewhere on the site.teaisme wrote:so does all this stuff have the SC taste approval attached to it? You drink this stuff often?

Re: Silent Chaos - Origin Tea, Oolong & Puerh
Congratulations with your new set up.
A good start for Chinese New Year. Wish you great success and also your endeavor to promote the tea culture. Tea businesses appear in many forms and my personal wish is always look for vendor who is really passionate to pursue the real stuff and promote the tea culture. Price should be taken in perspective but many would understand that real e.g. TYL cost a leg or finger and the true tea lover will pay and beg for it.
All the best to you again.

I can easily recommend this tea seller, Origin Tea, for excellent Taiwan oolongs. I was more than pleased with the DYL, Lishan, and others that I got from them. Prices are also more than fair. Great to have a quality seller in Taiwan that we can buy directly from and who is a member of TeaChat.

Thank you very much for the support guys!!
New 90ml shui ping pot added. The site is getting a facelift, soon to be completed. And did I mention......5% off on all 150g pack oolongs?

For those who seek a small pot, some early 90s Qing Shui Ni shui pings (75ml) have become available. Several different but similarly sized pots will follow. Till stock lasts

I have been poking through the website, but see no listing for Bai Hao Oolong, my favourite oolong.
Do you plan to offer some in the near future, SilentChaos?
Thanks.
Best wishes,
sherubtse
