Like a phoenix ...

... rising from the (kiln) ashes ... the Teaware SO returns with something new, something old.

Within here lies not one clue, but at least three clues.Figure it out and you win ... nothing but gain the admiration of fellow TeaChatters.

The key you summarily unlock.

What if I was to tell you that I am working on a new Teaware SO featuring a famous artisan who ... ? Wellllll, I can say no more now.

But stay tuned. And keep your tea leaves crossed that this becomes a reality.

At this point, perhaps think a wee bit more general versus focusing on individual artisans.

Oh, haha.

So, it's a woodfire Special Offering? Or pottery that's woodfired. From the ashes.... if more specific, could be bizen pottery.

Even if not, I'm very excited to hear about the prospect of a new special offering! I've been rotating more purposefully through my teaware in the last two months, and the ones I've purchased through offerings on TeaChat bring back a lot of great memories.

Hagi ... this may shock some of you, but nope ... not a Hagi SO.

But I think you will all find it equally ... interesting!

My Hagi addiction is somewhat ... satisfied. (But still also working on a Hagi SO made by a different artisan)
