Petr Novak has called some of his unglazed bizen-like pots 'Phoenix' pots,



and ash creates much of the lovely finish effects in Bizen-ware, so will these be Bizen-style Kyusus by a still-to-be-guessed artisan?

I'll go back to my idea of a father and son offering. The Sou family was already nixed, but we never quite got a no response on the Shibuya clan. Another possibility could be the Notoumi clan. But that quickly exhausts my knowledge of father-son teams, or at least ones that we've discussed previously.
