Yeah just thought for anyone that missed out. Seems like a good second chance for someone to grab one.

I think Alex is referring to the Yamada Sou Shudei pretty far down the page. There is also a Setsudo, which is 330ml, and a Shoryu, at 700ml. I didn't see a quantity for either Setsudo or Shoryu so I doubt it's them.
Re: NEW Tokoname SO #1, Gisui Kyusu NEW
I am really curious how he made the Buddha teapot pink. Does anyone know?
Re: NEW Tokoname SO #1, Gisui Kyusu NEW
Nope, he's referring to a seller on ebay, tokonamejp, http://www.ebay.com/sch/tokonamejp/m.html . Having a very quick look I only see one Gisui pot right now, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tokoname-Shudei ... 1881876284 , however that's with search rather looking at the listings manually so there may be more left. Additionally I believe this is the merchants non-ebay site http://www.tokoname.or.jp/teapot/gallery.htmthe_winding_path wrote:I believe this is the website-TokyoB wrote:Can't seem to find the correct website. 300ml $180

190ml $200

Looks like two of them sold. One was the heart sutra pot.

Is it just my monitor or does the lower quarter of the 190 ml look slightly purple

It looks like a dark brown to me with maybe the slightest hint of purple.jpo1933 wrote:^

It looks like the pot was partially reduction fired. Maybe an accident, or purposely done.jpo1933 wrote:^

I'd avoid that 1st one. The majority of the filter holes are completely closed with the spout base sealing them. Something very common on Gisui direct filter pots but that's probably the worse I've seen.
This is roughly what you'll be getting as usable and will result in a very slow pour. You'll get a few open on either side of the top left and right of the green circle. But its not enough for a pot of this size IMO
He's got five new ones up. Sadly they all seem the same. I'm guessing by their size that they maybe Hojo rejects? As the filters on all of them are suffering the same problem.

Hopefully most of the holes on my natsume pot that I just ordered aren't blocked The rihi gisui I bought a few months ago didn't have any pour issues, but it seems like with his filters its very much hit or miss.
I wonder though still how like a potter like Gisui could make the same mistake over and over again. I understand he's near-retirement, but seeing how long he's been making kyusu(without any filter issues?) it's strange that he would be still making the same mistake.
Oh wellz
