length of storage

by lighthsecats » Apr 19th, '25, 10:57

I have some loose leaf teas, black and herbal, from 2022. they were stored in a brown paper bag, folded over and then put in a ziplock. they still smell good, are they still usable or should I throw them out?

same with some others - no date bought - but stored same. and they CAN be stored in mason jars, in a cupboard?

thanks

If they look, smell, and feel fine- no harm is tasting them to see if you can still get any flavor from the leave.

You can store in mason jars in the cupboard, sure!
