Growing up I'd always viewed alfalfa as something that you gave to animals, but my friend bought me some alfalfa teabags as a gift and I've found that it's actualy quite nice, I did a little research and found it to be incredebly good for you as well (although they haven't found whether too much of it is bad for you yet, but I always say that almost "everything in moderation" can be good for you), it is a good source of vitamin K which is something that I need being as I rarely drink milk, it's also got a nice sweet and kinda hay-like taste... very soothing and calming with honey. Has anybody else had this before, if so what did you think of it?

Alfalfa is a fantastic herbal! Full of lots of different vitmans and minerals too! It's good for sustaining energy and yet soothing.

I like it in a lot of my blends. For awhile, everything I made has alfalfa....I've since eased up - but it's a solid stand-by in my kitchen.
