I’ve been sourcing puerh and making tasting pack for people in Melbourne and would love to share it with people in America too.
Just want to check if anyone are interested in something like this:
A) Good Value Aged Raws + a very good ripe
Around 380g of tea per share, 1/4 cake of:
1) 2003* Blue Mark raw iron cake; (Origin Tea used to sell them)
Very nice material, strong chaqi, aged quite well already and elegant. Still need some time though.
2) 2006 Everlasting “Red 99” raw puerh cake;
Everlasting is found by "the father of Yi Chang Hao. The 99 series started at 2005 (green 99) and this is the second in the series. Nice huigan and very balanced blend.
3) 2005 Xiaguan Thick Wrapper Tradition Fonts T8653 raw puerh iron cake;
1st batch of 8653 iron cake by Xiaguan in 2005. I am a huge fan of 8653 iron cakes. I have tried 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005(four different batches)and 2006 (two different batches) and this one is in the top 3.
4) 2012 Ru Fu Bulang Big Tree ripe puerh (pressed in 2014)
Medium level frementation (60% cooked), Bulang sweetness, almost no dank fermentation smell/taste

my source said the iron cake was made in 04, or 05.
