How are our members near Bangkok?

A second bomb was tossed onto Sathorn Pier early this afternoon. Luckily, it bounced into the water and exploded. My wife was right there getting on to a ferry and said the explosion was very loud and she could see the debris flying through the air. One piece landed on the ferry. No injuries. Very lucky. She was no more than 30 metres away.

She must be shaken up. Glad she and you are safe and sound. My wife was at home so she's fine, too.

I was surprised at how calm she was and how quickly she let it go. I think I was a bit more concerned after I had read that it was a bomb that was thrown from the bridge, bounced and landed in the water where it exploded. If it would have exploded on the walkway where it landed, there would have been some casualties. I would say this was a close call for anyone that was there at the time.

I'm glad your wife is OK, Tead Off, and that no one was hurt from the second bomb. May everyone in Bangkok be safe.
