I am having a terrible time finding what Im looking for. Id like to find a ceramic teapot for work. one that can make a cup thats an american sized coffee mug. I do not want a stainless steal infuser! Id like something with a multi hole strainer thats built in before the spout. Like a kyusu with a conventional handle on the back instead of the side thats fully glazed.
Everything I am finding is super huge or has a separate strainer.
Help!
Re: Help me find a pot for work
I use one of these at work, because I they are super easy to clean:

But it sounds like you may be looking for something closer to this:

Yes!
That second and third pot is exactly what I am talking about. Around 200-300 ml would be perfect.

With smaller teapots if I want more volume of tea at one sitting, either for myself or when guests come, I will stack my 1st&2nd, 3rd&4th etc. infusions into another pot.

I did this with Yixing pots years ago! Now I just use bigger Yixing and porcelain pots when I want to 'drink like a cow' (Hong Kong term for modern Chinese tea consumption). You can find larger porcelain pots at many Chinatown stores.victoria3 wrote: With smaller teapots if I want more volume of tea at one sitting, either for myself or when guests come, I will stack my 1st&2nd, 3rd&4th etc. infusions into another pot.
I have two humble rice grain teapots on my desk at work (along with a lot of Yixing pots):

I use them pretty much exclusively for Vietnamese green tea. One is around 180ml and the other is 500ml.
Larger Yixing pots work well, too, if you don't mind the expense, and offer the benefits of clay.

Muji has a pretty decent side handle porcelain pot which is large enough for a mug and a half. Not sure if they sell the smaller version in the West though. Works for most teas, even if it is a little tall.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. Real estate is at a premium on my desk, so multiple pots isnt really an option. Id also like to use this pot for everything from silver needle to pu, so ceramic is a must. Time is also of high importance. I dont have time for multiple brewing or to make smaller amounts more often.

Did you find anything? I've also been looking for an easy-to-clean, individual-sized porcelain brewing vessel.dizzo wrote: Thanks for the suggestions folks. Perhaps something like these:

or this 460mL from artistic nippon:

Cool. I used to collect Japanese teaware, but it was recently lost in a cross-country move.dizzo wrote: I did!

So I'm moving towards minimalist white porcelain. I returned some French-made porcelain for these affordable 10oz mugs below, from a hospitality company, Fortessa. Very ergonomic.

Hello. Our technologist advised us to buy a new dishwasher from an Australian brand. Typically, such a specialist is in close contact with companies supplying equipment, so we think what if this is an advertising and we don't want to buy it if it is something of poor quality. We would like to hear your opinion.

I just use a french press. Easy to clean and a great filter. I also have a large-ish maybe yixing (brought to me from China by a friend on a visit home) which I decided works well with oolongs. I use it on occasion with I decide some purchases are only of office quality.
