The size of my cups depends on what I'm drinking and what time of day it is. On my way to work, I take my 12oz or 16oz travel mug and drink on that and since I don't have the chance to resteep, I try to make that one black (the additional caffeine also makes me happy). Once I am back home, I pull out the oolong or green and the "proper" sized cups and just keep steeping one tea until it is pretty much water.

So, I guess that means partial-Bubba?

It all depends on the following factors for me

1. What tea am I drinking?

2. What cup is clean?

Usually my cup is a goodwill rescue cup and saucer or my glass adagio mug. For greens I bust out my chawan or a cup my boss gave me from Japan. Oolongs and pu I always drink out of my gong fu tasting cup. It makes me feel...scholarly I suppose.

Whew! I was afraid I would be run out of "TeaTown" with my admission! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to supersize her cuppa!

After reading the responses I have a better understanding (and perhaps appreciation?) of small cups. I'm not sure I'll ever be a convert when it comes to my favorite blacks but as I'm venturing into greens and oolongs, I'll probably pull them out. I do own a lovely set of celery green cups (3 oz) with a matching teapot (that my SIL gave to me for my 30th birthday) so I should finally put them to use. :)

I use the Ingenuitea infuser and the mug from Adagio. I have one in the morning at home then 2nd infusion on my way to work. I think they are 14-16 ozs.

Disclaimer: I also use small cups. Always for greens.
