Good evening,
First time poster, hi I'm Emmanuel from Northern Ireland and I came into possession of what I think is a Yixing teapot last year but I only discovered what it actually was last week. I have attatched some photos of the markings on the bottom, the handle and under the lid as well as photos of the right and left sides of the pot. I'd love to know if the characters mean anything!

Hi, unfortunately it's not a Yixing pot. I personally wouldn't use it because the quality doesn't warrant a 100% safe/enjoyable use for brewing tea.

Hi what basis do you make those findings on?

It's a Qing shui ni teapot, the mark is "徐达明" Xu daming(1952-2016), master 徐汉棠's eldest son. I don't know when you get it, whether you have the certificate. just judge from the workmanship, it's not excellent, because author is also a famous artist, if it's not his early work then it's a fake one.
