Hi found these two nearly identical pots. I want to start buying stuff from one or both of these vendors. Is it possible both are authentic?
First pictures the one from the '80s supposedly. $105 after shipping.
Second pictures are one from modern day. Different chop marks. Cost $80.

Every pot from oldzisha is modern. I'd avoid their teapots.louisjohn79 wrote:Thanks. Re: Are these pots both legit or...
It's not an 80s pot.
Those zini pots are usually chemically-ridden ones, especially if shiny looking.
I had a quick look at eBay and the following two are definitively 'chemical' pots:

Second link is dead but yeah that first one is suspect.
I'm surprised to hear EVERYTHING on oldzishsa is modern. I'm still itching to buy something authentic but scepticism is jamming me up. What should i do?

A fair amount of people recommend eBay seller Lukevcent for cheap modern pots.
