Water Temperature

by Mary Ann » Oct 13th, '05, 05:15

Where do you find a good reliable thermometer for determining the proper temperature of your water? I have an Ingenuitea now, what a marvelous invention! I filter the water, I'm using wonderful Adagio loose teas, I want to make sure I'm making the best cup of tea possible.

Actually, I just use a meat thermometer from the grocery store. One thing you can do to quickly check is to see if they all read the same temperature as you are standing there. I have seen those big garden ones and they all had different temps, you know those can't be accurate, then.

I do the same.
I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form.
