How you get a tea pet to squirt is to first soak it in water that is just under boiling for a few seconds. Then you quickly dip it in very cold water making sure the hole is under the water. Do this several times until the tea pet is filled, and then when you want it to squirt, you just pour hot water over it. It'll fill the tea pet in just a few minutes. Soaking doesn't usually work, and when it does, it takes days.

My daughter was born the year of the rat too. She's got a HUGE collection of rat tea pets, teapots, tea, etc. I really hope she likes tea when she grows up. Haha!

LOL my little one already drinks loads of tea. She's been drinking tea from 6 months. mostly white tea. She's 2 now and knows that different tea require different amount of leaf and stuff and is good at measuring them out. :D

Oh and I just emailed your website. Very nice BTW look forward to placing some orders.

Got some really cute ones from an earlier age. Will get them posted some time.

She drinks really slowly and focusses on the tea really well.

She's beautiful! What a wonderful photo! I hope you framed it.

My daughter doesn't drink tea yet, although we often have tea parties together. She has her own cups and teapots which sit on my tea tray and I do the gongfu ceremony using just water. She likes it. She's got more tea ware than any one person probably should. I had a bunch of custom pieces made for her birth and birthdays. She taps her fingers in thanks for a cup poured and she likes to pour me cups of tea. It's so much fun! Does your daughter like just White Tea, or does she like other types as well? Does your daughter have her own tea ware?
