David R, thank you!

lkj23, thank you. I can be a little particular about the foam. I want it to be as fine as possible. That is great houhin!

Kazuwa-yaki has been really growing on me lately. I keep looking at the gorgeous yet expensive chawan in Mago selection... I have hesitated to buy this very Houhin quite a few times I think.

Ikj23, please tell us if you're happy with it !

They are very pretty cups and tea pots that you show, but I wonder how useful to enjoy the colors, smells, tastes of tea.

What would be the best materials to enjoy the qualities potenciales tea?.

I just read this article discoveries of the tea pots:

"...MY host places three porcelain cups of oolong tea in front of me. Taking a sip from the first cup, I sniff a lovely whiff of flowery aroma.

The pale green to light gold-coloured brew is crisp and has a sweet aftertaste, typical of this semi-oxidised oolong tea from Taiwan’s Mt Dong Ding.

I sip from the second cup. Wow! This Oolong has a thicker texture and a longer finish. Just before I take the third cup of tea, my host dips a branch from a wild tea tree into the cup for mere seconds. Again, the tea seems to have developed a lush mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste.

Basically, these three cups of tea came from the same pot but the second cup of tea was first poured into a red clay tea vessel for seconds whilst the third cup was “tainted” with a mineral-rich tea branch.

Magic? Not really.

It’s just an open secret shared amongst tea lovers around the world – the right teapot can do wonders to enhance the taste of tea..."

Like iannon this houhing is one of my favorites pieces of teaware. Yesterday was my first sesion with it, and with blue seigan, and the sensation was unique, I´m really happy with it.

Oak thank you. I´m relative novice to teaware but each vessel is recommended for one diferent tea. For example, for teapots the type of clay or sand determined the recomended tea to be brewed, but I don´t know much more about it because I drink basically green tea, 2-3 times black, oolong and pu-erh a week and I alternate between gaiwan and teapots.

Me too! It looks so beautiful in a tea setting, even better than on Mago's pictures. Very nice, lkj23! Enjoy and share your enjoyment with us!
