They have so much to choose from. How are they to deal with, anyone buy from them?

I bought an inexpensive yixing teapot. It was a good pot for the price and a good starter pot. Shipping was fast and item well packed.

I buy almost exclusivly from Teapot Gallery. Great shipping and very well packaged. You can get pots that sell for 15 USD that in other stores you will pay 40 to 50 USD easliy. They are based out of Dallas Texas however, must of their stock is shipped directly from China. Their items are not Master level pots or family heirlooms, however, for everyday use they are more than enough. Sometimes you will get lucky and find an master apprentice thown into the selection.

How can you tell (visually or otherwise) what "master level" or "apprentice level" pot is?

I'll vouch for the Chinese Teapot Gallery too. Their customer service is awesome. I ordered a few gongfu pots and a set of cups from them at once. I e-mailed Ying before placing the order, though, to ask about shipping and he knocked down the shipping a lot since I was ordering multiple pieces.

I got the package through Fed Ex about a week and a half later. It took so long because the Fed Ex Ground in my area are liars and idiots.* They lost the package, but it wasn't through any fault of the Chinese Teapot Gallery.

*Out of the 6 packages I've received through Fed Ex Ground this year, 5 have been 'lost' (the driver doesn't want to drive out of Indy, so he says he's delivered it, then comes to my suburb 3-4 days later when he has more packages) and 1 had the bejeebus beaten out of it. That one was from Adagio. The box had been torn to shreds and was practically opened. The inside contents were absolutely fine, though. They cushion their products well!
