Jing Tea shop - no where to be found

by tthouse » Apr 18th, '15, 13:45

Has anyone had any recent contact with the Jingteashop.com team? I know they are slow to respond but i made a purchase two weeks ago and haven't heard from them yet, despite many emails weeks before and after the purchase. I remember reading somewhere on teachat that they contacted them through this forum. Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm still waiting on an order from March 16th myself. I haven't tried to contact them yet though, as I just moved to Hawaii and am not sure how long shipping is supposed to take here. The status was changed to "Order Sent" about 3 weeks ago. Definitely getting a little impatient. :?

Based on discussion here, slow shipping/e-mail respond, happen very often with JTS...

Mine says shipped too on April 6 but i doubt it, my address is in Shanghai, wouldn't take that long, even if it was on horseback. A bit disappointing really, how does one continue business that way? I have purchased a teapot but wanted to sample their tea and make another order. Doubt that will happen now.

Ordered from them a few years ago with the same result. Took about six weeks to get the tea. That being said it was some excellent tea...

Jing Tea shop - no where to be found

It's unfortunate that it takes them forever (and their excuses are transparent and awful) but the tea is usually worth it, and you will get it at some stage.

It speaks to the quality of the product if they are able to maintain a business with such poor customer service. I suppose I'll be placing an order for some teas I'd like in the fall.

I also wonder if most of their business/profits come from face to face sales in their brick and mortar shop, and the online shop is secondary and maybe not even necessary for them to be successful... Hence the online shop doesn't get much of their attention?

Cannot be more agree. Some teas are outstanding...excellent, like Dancong Red. But it is hit and miss every time with cnances 50/50 with Jing.

By the way, I received my parcel today. All in order. Will be ordering from Jing tea shop again.

I don't think they have a brick and mortar shop. I do think they travel fairly often. I haven't bought from them for quite a while; I've had some delays or problems with communication, but have never had them actually not send an order.

Well this is good news! I suppose we can take away that communication is poor, but packages will likely arrive, though it might take awhile.

Their Dancong Red is one of my favorites as well... :D
