Does Japanese Copper Tea Caddy help keep Wuyi Leaves good?

by ken1shi » Feb 11th, '16, 01:40

I looked on Lifeinateacup's online ebay store and just ordered a Japanese copper tea caddy. Was wondering if it will do a good job with roasted wuyi oolongs by letting them rest in it. I don't really know much about Japanese teawares. What do yall think of the caddy?

It looks like your Chazutsu has a (second) layer made of tin on the inside or more likely it is tin-plated. I'm using a similar caddy from Kaikado for my Wuyi Oolong as well. As far as I can tell: The tin has no influence at all and that's the good thing.
