Did I mention that Den's only charged $3 shipping, which made this even more of a steal?
I remembered that this morning when I ordered a 2nd in the series (the Yutori) and some more tea. Even with all the tea thrown in, shipping was *still* $3.
I also handled the kokoro pot really roughly this morning putting it through some of my crazy Padre tests, and it scoffed at my efforts.
I was able to shove the screen slightly out of place with an amount of force far beyond what's reasonable. Then I was able to shove it back.
The yutori appears to have a fully wrap-around screen, so I don't expect that to even be possible.

Good idea. I got starter kit first as well. The green tea and health book that comes with it has some entertaining illustrations in it.forkyfork wrote:I just ordered the green tea starter kit for $3 (including s&h). By the time this arrives, I hope that pot is back in stock. And then I can deduct the $3 I just spent on this purchase. Yaaay
I recommend that you order some Guricha and Houji-Kukicha to go along with that pot once it's back in stock. I'm enjoying those 2 teas the most out of the 5 I've tried so far from dens.

The yutori pot arrived today.
Size-wise, it's identical to the kokoro.
The screen on this one wraps all the way around the interior.
The color is darker than it seems in the pics at Den's. In fact, it's not terribly unlike the look of the kokoro.
I shot a quick video in very bad lighting. I'll try to post a better one when I can.

Good to know, padre.
I bought the So-an, it should be delivered tomorrow. I wrote to Den about it, he said even though it does not look like it in the picture, it is glazed. So I picked it up to brew kuki-houjicha in...which I also ordered. I'll post a pic of the pot when I can.
Den also told me that they will have the Kokoro back in stock in May along with some new pots.
