Nice set up!! Wish I had the room!! Wow.
Is rolling of the cloth some tradition, or just
your design idea?

Unlike Chanoyu, Senchado and cha xi have few formal rules, I like to role the cloth to create a break in the composition, or to stop they eye from "falling" of the table. I have only seen one other person use the rolled cloth, a japanese woman who practices chinese cha xi. Nice flower by the way it looks quite happy to be enjoying tea with you.

Well I really like it! And i just noticed the right angle folding which resembles origami.

Thank you for the compliment. I planted 3 camellia bushes in my garden many, many years ago. This is the only one that survived, but I am rewarded each Feb/Mar with beautiful blooms.

Blairswh...,
Love your shots - and love your chaxi setups.
You're really getting to me, inside - and I'm digesting, percolating.
Definitely impacted.
My gratitude.

Great shot V! Woh.
Gorgeous bloom.

If you can't tell, this has been my favorite cup lately. Maybe because the new chataku sets it off so nicely.

Hi Victoria,
I also liked your cup. In fact I decided to buy one for myself.
Searching on "porcelain tea cup" brought up 1000s of cups.

After buying this set of four and finding two more that I liked.
I realized I was going about this all wrong.
I should ask you where did you get yours? :? Duh on me

Well that's a great cup you have. I really like it when there is a red accent added. Which is what drew me to my cups too.
