So sad. But now you have room for another Hagi that needs a home....

You can contact Mago. If you send him photos, he will be able to give you a price for repair by the artist I was talking a bout a few posts above.

Here is my pot being repaired while I am at it :

Thanks everyone. Still early in considering alternatives.

It was sound asleep, I was in the room when it happened but had my back turned and was too far away anyway. Kitty reached up, and pulled it right off the shelf ... there were reports of a fly instigating the accident.

BTW, I am happy to report this Kikumari kyusu has held together after likely hundreds of steeps since the repair shown on page 5 of this topic ... however I still never pour right into a nice cup with it, instead pouring into a cheapie 1.99 USD "faircup." I brew with it virtually every day.

Ugh, I've chipped things before, but this is the first time I've completely demolished something. Glad it wasn't something I'd had longer and therefore was more attached to, but still made for a bad start to the day. :(

I just broke one of my Zuni teapots. It bounced twice, then just shattered. I don't know if I have the heart to photograph it though. It's a great way to start the day.
