Seeker. Here I deleted my entire previous post which included a compliment on the RF chawan which is very cool.

Hi Adam,

ps - oh, and Adam, there's a couple more images on page 6 of this thread.

Re: Today's MatchaWan :D (new name, but tea's the same)
I just remembered that I never posted a follow-up to the many questions I asked (and many of you, especially Geekgirl) gracefully answered about buying a proper chawan. I ended up on the very basic side of things because I don't drink enough matcha at this point to justify really investing in teaware, but I'm happy with what I got.
From Happylake on Etsy. The tea's Korean matcha I found buried in the back of my cupboard. It's extremely old and really didn't want to whisk.

Wow, stunning sharings, all!!!
Yum, yum, yummy eye candy.
(Sorry I'm sparse lately - sort of stressing and dealing with lots and lots to do's. Sigh.)
TC - congrats on your chawan. Looks great!
Cory - I think I missed something - honoring GeekGirl? Was there a b'day or...?
Also - that yunomi - I can see why it "called" you! It looks like you could have made it!
And your last shot - wow. I just LOVE the mystical feel of the chasen.
Truly stunning.
I may attempt an homage - if I can de-stress enough to tolerate handling my camera.
Cheers everyone!
oh, and hey! - stickied! So totally cool! Uber cool in fact!
Hazaaa!
