Today I opened a vacuum sealed bag of Taiwan High Mountain SHANLINXI oolong. I have a feeling it came from an eBay vendor, possibly Teahome. I have no idea of the date, but it's over a year for sure. Still it was pretty good.

Finishing a session with Phoenix Honey Orchid Oolong, the leaves probably had more to give, but I have run out of steam.

Finishing off the last of my small bag of Shan Lin Xi right now. yummy but i preferred the Long Feng Xia a bit more ..gonna work on that next!

Some Adagio Huang Jin Bolero. I had a sample and thought it might be a nice occasional change. A secondary reason for ordering was to check out the NEW Adagio POUCHES, but it came in a tin - bummer! Those wanting tins get pouches and vise versa ... ironic.
But it is a nice everyday oolong. A bit of a transitiion when you have been drinking mostly Taiwan, but once you get used to the flavor profile, it's actually quite nice.

In my cup now is 2008 da hong pao from Hui Yuan yan cha factory. I spotted it from a yan cha supplier and greedily took all he had. It feels so safe to have ample storage of yan cha

Drinking some wuyi rou gui today. Im almost sure I have found a nice pairing between this rou gui and my zhuni teapot. It seems sweeter with a longer lasting sweetness in the teapot than the gaiwan.
