How do you find this (or any) 'Summer' harvest?

When I first started drinking TGY, and started searching the net for info on harvests the common perception appeared to be that most people preferred the freshness and vibrancy of Spring, that a few preferred the fullness of body and rounded out deep flavours of fall, but that Summer harvests were usually lacklustre, and as such producers only interested in preserving the quality of their output would usually forego summer harvests, and that producers with old trees would probably only have the 1 spring harvest.

That saying, the only Summer Harvest that I have had (Rich barbarian) was very good and in my opinion better than the fall harvest.

How do you find this (or any) 'Summer' harvest?

Stole the last bag from Luh Yu Tea Emporium in NYC - a shop with strong ties to Taiwan. The summer harvest is obviously not prestigious, but was recommended to me personally because it is much bolder.

My type of TGY My summer supreme+ had more glycerol like texture than any other I have tried and was full of flavour!
Which made me wonder why Spring was so exalted, and Fall the 2nd most vaunted.

where is yours from? Is it good? how does it compare to other Fenghuang Oolongs that you have had?

It is from Specialteas. Not a very strong aroma in the dry leaf..slightly dirt/earthy. I found it quite mellow..not overly toasty. Some kind of sweetish undertone I cant quite put my finger on..I didnt find it very remarkable but it was an easy mellow drinker
