2014 Organic Kamairi Tamaryokucha from O-Cha. A pan fried green tea. Flavors are very round and it's easy to drink. Somewhat reminiscent of an asamushi sencha. Tasty.

That tea does sound interesting. I'm running low on my beloved O-Cha Kariganes and I just might add this to the order. At $12+ for 100 grams its reasonable to try now and not wait for the next harvest.puerhking wrote:2014 Organic Kamairi Tamaryokucha from O-Cha. A pan fried green tea. In my cup today, Karigane Sencha Otsuusan from O-Cha. I've been brewing this bag differently than previous bags - more like gyo, with excellent results.

I don't think you will be disappointed.....and it has a longer shelf life since it's pan fried.JRS22 wrote:That tea does sound interesting. O-Cha Organic Kirishima Sencha brewed in Yamada shudei kyusu, grassy and fruity, long aftertaste.

It's a new day, but old leaves, having breakfast and using yesterdays Bilochun still.
Might move on to Puerh by lunchtime.

Shirocha from Hiruma-en. A velvety Asamushi with an intense mouthfeel, thickness, and finish, creating a long lasting tingling on the tongue and lips. One of the top senchas I've tasted this year.

Maybe not color accurate, but beautiful, long, needles.debunix wrote:That's some intense green.

We aged this organic Bilouchun from Nantou for five years at home. We opened the tin today thinking it would be rather stale, but it was quite an interesting tea to drink.

Tsuen Musashi via O-Cha. I've had the bag open for a year, and it appears to be sweeter and more aromatic than I remember it. Quite enjoyable.

Gyoku-hou from O-Cha. It's a delightful change from morning sencha. Mmmm.

Drinking right now some Asahina gyokuro (hojotea). Simply marvelous!
Re: Official what GREEN are you currently drinking?
Tsuen Musashi again, brewed hotter and stronger. Tastes milky, like some high mountain TW oolong, but bitter because of the heat. Quite a bit more flavorful though.
