Thanks for all the positive comments/compliments... I still have a lot of pieces to go. Seems like I'll never get to the end of listing them all. I actually will probably not try to, as I have the big annual Pottery Fair in August in Cazenovia to get stocked up for. I was very fortunate to get a prime spot in the show. I think I'll do well. Glad you folks are enjoying the postings, I try to show a little of everything. I enjoy the friendly banter that goes back and forth.
Back to work, there's a yard full of long grass calling to me. It's about 2 1/2 acres worth and not a big flat square. If you can imagine the artist's layout...curvey yard, swooping landscaping, craftsman style house. I designed and built most of my own home with my wife and two of our boys, I retired my construction business (26yrs) after the house and barn. A grand finale! Now I just have a few more years of teaching to go, I've got 31 in this fall. Then I can enjoy creating pottery and oil painting full time!! I use to paint often, it's been since 2003... I hope it's ok to share some, I know this is a tea site, but it's part of getting to know me, unless you just want me for my wares...

These two I painted on a trip to Portsmouth, NH in 2003 with my kids
And these two are examples of earlier work.
Ok, back to pottery and more importantly, teaware.
Cheers,
Bill
