Thank you for the update. If memory serves me correctly Tea From
Taiwan requires a $60 purchase before shipping is free. So that's cheaper by $10. Thanks again.
Blessings!

As I read the first of the new shipping options, your order of $25 or more will ship free (by EMS) if you include at least one 25g sample. For my way of thinking, that's pretty good!
Best wishes,

My order from TTC arrived safely today. It was very well packaged, and included 2 free 25 g. sample teas. Shipping (via EMS, the only way in which they ship) took a week. My order was processed and shipped the next day.
Overall, I am very impressed with TTC thus far.
Now let's see how the teas taste ....
Best wishes,

Sweet, thank you for the correction; I didn't read it correctly the first time.

I see that TTC has revised their shipping options:
Nice! The shipping price was the only thing keeping me from trying them out a couple of weeks ago. It looks like they have an interesting offer.

It seems, they have their own farm and also process their own teas:

How would that be?
If I purchase a sample bag (or two):
...they automatically charge the $20 flat rate.
They should update the check out page to make sure what they state in the link you provided is correct.

Yes, they do have their own farm, but as far as I know, it's in DD not in DYL.

SilentChaos is correct.
As the offer states "TO ACTIVATE THIS OFFER YOU MUST USE COUPON: FREESHIP25 ON THE SHOPPING CART PAGE BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT."

OK, ive taken advantage of the FreeShipping at TTC since im a serial tea-sampler, and i liked the website, clean + informative ... also ive not had a really FRESH this-years-taiwan-Oolong before
trying first the Fu Shou Shan sample .. definitely a top quality taiwan oolong ... smells good in the packet, wet leaves are a nice dark bluey-green
shipping was prompt .. i actually made a second order before the first even arrived, to take advantage of the free shipping
the teas are packaged in a similar 'block' style to the one SilentChaos uses
[as opposed to the usual amorphous vacuumed 'lump']

first impression .. good, but not as good as the fu shou shan tbh

so, to recover from the slightly disappointing 2013 DYL from TFT i thought
id go some Winter 2012 DYL from Origin .. [just to see how they compared like]
but discovered an opened sample pack of 2013 Spring Alishan: Zhang-Shu-Hu High Mountain Oolong - 阿里山樟樹湖烏龍茶 from Origin
http://www.origintea.net/Alishan-zhang- ... 013-Spring
which had come unrolled, so it needs using
while its not the same as the FuShouShan 2013, to me its of a similar excellence

Speaking of OriginTea ... I just posted this elsewhere ... please pardon the double posting but it is relevent to this topic.
Coincidentally, OTTI 19 will feature a sampling of 5 premium, high-mountain
Taiwan oolong from OriginTea. This will go live on Sunday at 6 PM Eastern USA time.
Check out the OTTI forum of TeaChat for information. OTTI = Official Tea Tasting Initiative. Here is a link to the 3 day notification topic, but a new topic will be created on Sunday specifically for this round.
