Has anyone here tasted some of their teas, especially matcha and gyokuro?

Have it in my saved list and always check it out. Not the easiest to buy from as I recall, probably why I did not try them yet, but I do want to in earnest.

I've had some of their matcha and sencha. Pretty good stuff.

My sensei buys Marukyu-Koyamaen most of the time for use in our tea classes. When she (or one of my friends) brings matcha back from Japan for me, it's almost always Koyamaen.

So: yes. I wouldn't have the faintest idea how to mail-order it for myself, though!

I've had some of their matcha through third parties like matcha source and teance. It was pretty good.

Matcha and More seems to carry a pretty comprehensive selection under Koyama-en at the top. Not sure whether their prices are good or not.

Thanks for your answers.

I guess I will try to order directly from Marukyu-Koyamaen if it is possible to pay by Visa card (I don't know why the best japanese shops don't accept paypal) but I might wait for their shincha.
