This tread is getting messy and off topic :/
For anyone who is confused my list has nothing to do with any lists for TeaChat

What kind of tea are you looking for?
I've probably got 50 sites bookmarked; they almost all specialize in one sort of tea or another. Some also cater more toward the experienced tea drinker with expensive tastes.
I wouldn't discount the eBay stores entirely, either. As previously mentioned, Dragon Tea House and Yunnan Sourcing are reputable vendors depending on what type of tea you're looking for (Yunnan Sourcing, for example, has good puerh but usually has terrible wulong, except for one particular exception right now).

LOL, off subject again. The TeaRoom will be a portion of the forum for members only with say at least a few months membership and a required number of posts. Nonmembers will not even see it, it will be invisible to them. There is a TD discussion on it. I will have to look for it.hooksie wrote:What is this "TeaRoom" you speak of?Chip wrote:However ... when the "TeaRoom" portion of the forum is "open," I would be more open to its placement there.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
I know it's OT, but I just have to say it.Chip wrote:LOL, off subject again. Second rule of TeaRoom: no cats off leash. OH WAIT NM IT'S NO SPEAKING ABOUT TEAROOM

If you want a more static list of vendors, check out the vendor list on wikiCHA. There aren't a lot of reviews, and many of them may be out of date, but feel free to add/create pages about vendors you don't see any information for. Also try searching around the various tea blogs-- that should give some good results.
It's a shameless plug, but if you use the Lijit search tool on my blog (see my profile, or click on the www button below my post), you can get search results from several other blogs I trust/enjoy/respect/etc. This is pretty much exactly the reason I installed that feature, so I don't feel too bad about self-promoting a bit.

I'm not looking for any kind of tea in particular. I's more on the basis of how often a name of a store occurs (in good context). If they have a wide offer thats a plus.ABx wrote:What kind of tea are you looking for?

To me ebay is a 'generals' store, it's not quite a tea store, even though it offers quality tea.
I have huuuuuuge list of vendors on my blog. There are countless lists of vendors everywhere. The reason I'm asking is not because I want just a big list of any vendors. I will select a few shops for that list that are most popular and respectable among tea drinkers. Sorry if I'm unclear.scruffmcgruff wrote:Second rule of TeaRoom: no cats off leash. Thus the names that occur most often I will consider for the review in my article
