Tea in my Cereal!

by Aphroditea » Mar 23rd, '09, 22:30

I have been heard to mention rather tongue-in-cheek how I have tea in my lotions and face masques and salt scrubs and even in a candle or two and how pretty soon I will find tea creeping into other places in my life....

and it has finally happened! The wife of a fella who works with my father works for Kellogg and brings loads of samples and taste test items to her husband's office. My father, always willing to load us up with free food, snagged a bunch of stuff including Blueberry Muffin Pop Tarts (for my son), a cereal called Taste of Honey Corn Flakes that is in the taste test phase and therefore in a plain white box and this stuff from Kashi called Heart to Heart which will be hitting shelves soonish.

This is a cereal, looks a bit like people kibble with puffy oat heart shapes mixed in with dense Cheerio looking rings. Warm Cinnamon is the flavor. I LOVE it and while I was munching away I was reading the ingredients label and halfway down what should I spy?

decaffienated green tea extract and decaffienated white tea extract!

Where will tea turn up next?!
