Tea Chests

by CutieAgouti » Mar 27th, '09, 04:39

Does anyone here own a tea chest? For example like any of the ones from sensational.teas?

If so is it worth getting? I want to get a tea tray eventually for gong-fu but at the same time the storage factor of these chests for pots appears practical.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I've scoured Mary's site at sensationalteas(dot)com, but I can't find these tea chests you speak of.

Are you talking about the tea tray "box" thingie?

It's under tea accessories. But it is a tea tray box thingie. I'm just wondering if it's really any good for teaware storage/practicing gong fu/anything else.

For storage and travel

Some teaboxes have charming handles; they're meant to be used on picnics, and for longer periods of travel.

Teaguy (Taiwan) can verify and expand on intended use and design.

for storage purposes, you could do away with an odourless carton box... its ideal

Thanks for the feedback!

And while I do have boxes for storage, I wanted something that I could use during the day near my desk (with two computers and lots of other electronics, I'm hesitant to brew and pour tea right on the desk) and put away during the night/for travel.

Guess I'll start looking for one I like :D

boxes for long term storage... but if you're talking about storing pu for daily drinking, maybe you could use a large office envelope those in yellowish color
