Ever buy from these places?

I recently read The Harney & Sons Guide To Tea. Besides his own website he also recommends a few other suppliers. Namely ImperialTea, Rishi-tea and Uptontea. Has anybody bought tea from these 4 places? As far as prices, quality and selection go how do they fair?

I have a purchased some items by Rishi, but not from their web site. I get it at my local Whole Foods. The tea that I have tried so far has been good and probably priced fairly. I have been able able to examine some of their tea wares and it all looks well made.

I've purchased tea accessories though Rishis website on several occasions. Very fast shipping and well packed. Can't say anything about the quality of their teas, but I wouldn't hesitate to give them a chance.

The tea bar I worked in, we bought wholesale from Rishi. Like someone already said...very well packaged. The Iron Goddess of Mercy tea is just fantastic. Everything I have tasted from that company I was happy with.

I like Rishi. Sometimes they seem to approach the quality of more boutique shops.

I am confused as to what you are actually asking. You posted this in the Teaware category, yet you seem to be asking about the tea. As for all the vendors, all are reputable and many here have bought from all of them. As to the quality of the tea, I will have to say that is probably more a personal taste issue, or at the very least would depend on what type of tea you are considering buying.

My personal opinion is, I would definitely rate Rishi above the other three. I would not buy oolongs from Upton. However their service and shipping on non-tea items is excellent.
