This includes event the most expensive teas.
Would you be tempted to purchase your expensive teas - say gyokuro or silver needles or whatever your thing is, if you got discount?
An example - O'cha's 40 or 50 $/3 oz gyokuro. Would buy a pound of this for 50 % discount?
well - but think of the price. Say a lb of o-cha gyo costs 200 $.
and the discount you get is 100 - making your 1 lb tea for about 100 $.
Now the 3 oz sells for 50.
I just can't see why not spend 50 more and get 16 oz. I am certain that with proper care - you can make the tea last for about 4 months without any worries. You get over 80 % of tea for another 50 bucks.
Personally I fail to see a downside.

Re: Would you purchase bulk 1 lb if you got a hefty discount
No, unless it is sold in 100gr packages.inspectoring wrote:This includes event the most expensive teas.

I usually prefer 50gr packages for gyokuro anyway.
