I chose Chinese :) I took a Chinese calligraphy course in college and loved the intricacy of the characters and pronunciations. I found it very pretty.

... been there and done that with my wife. Organic Tenkei Hana koicha from Yuuki-Cha which was quite excellent.

We visited Middlecreek Wildlife Refuge today which was quite amazing and saw lots of unusual waterfowl, I think around 15 different kinds including several favorites. For any bird lovers out there, the list included Ruddy Ducks, Buffleheads, Ring Necks, Mergansers ... and a very large Red Tail being harrassed by an incredible Northern Harrier Hawk that in turn was being bombarded by a stubborn crow.

It sounds nice. Most of those birds will be heading north within the next two or three weeks to breed. Hummingbirds are starting to move through, so put out those hummingbird feeders! (Here is the URL to their migration map if you're interested http://www.hummingbirds.net/map.html)

We've had gannets in Boston harbor for the last two days. That's a treat as they usually stay far out in open ocean.

I opened a bag of hibiki-an sencha pinnacle tonight. Boy, this is an extravagant tea. I shouldn't have opened it on a weeknight; it deserved a lot more attention than I could give to it.

I voted Japanese, because I've always enjoyed that language, and like the names of the teas and teaware in japanese.

Wow, full teaday here... literally, I think I am full of tea right now... I'm kinda sloshy.

Started my day with a big cup of Green Anji from Adagio, followed up about two hours later with a Tazo Decaf Chai Tea Latte.

Had a "Ceylon Supreme" at a bookstore down here later in the day. They told me it was from a company called "Carpe Diem" in Mobile, AL. I couldn't find a website for them. They had a large selection, loose leaf too, but they packed it tightly into bags when they gave it to you in your drink, so it didn't have room to expand. I like my Ceylon Sonata from Adagio better anyways.

Dinner was at a hibachi grill, and before dinner came out I finished off a pot (20-24oz, not sure really) of Genmai Cha all by myself. Then while others were drinking desert, I had a pot (same size) of what they just called "oolong." It was tea bags, and the tags just said "Tea" and had what looked like a character under them, but they weren't anything exciting.

Craving more tea, but I think I need to stop for the night...

I voted Indian. I love Indian music. I find the language very rhythmic especially in music.

Be careful with Japanese - it will take over your life.
