My GraviTea has been in constant use for 36 days with no scale in my kettle!!! Only tiny traces on some glassware I use daily and generally rinse only. Seems like there is no iron deposits like I used to have as well even though it is not spec'ed to remove Iron?
Now I need to consider replacement filters I guess.
One thing I have also noticed, tea stains adhere to scale. Get rid of scale depositing minerals and I have virtually no tea stains (keeping in mind I drink greens the vast majority of the time).

Wow this sounds like a great investment. My water is city water so lots of added stuff in there so I am sure it would benefit my daily thousand cups of tea.
One major question I have for any of you who have it does it truly in fact improve taste?
I would assume that it would given all the stuff it will remove but you know what they say about assuming?

OK, almost 4 months and I have not had any need to descale my kettle which previously needed it every week! All my teaware is staying so much cleaner. Also, metal such as iron has not shown up which is odd since it is not spec'd to remove iron, etc.
I think that tap water would have to improve in taste, it descales and dechlorinates. Not sure about flouride though.

Oh it definitely improves tap water taste, at least where I live.
In fact I am quite spoiled now. When I try to drink my tap water now,
I'm shocked at how bad it tastes.
