Awhile back some people were asking me about a digital electric kettle I had used. Imperial Tea Court now has for sale the final model of the prototype I tried. It's UL listed, etc... the one I used was excellent. Haven't ordered one of these or used one but I assume it is the same

How many watts is that SS kettle? The digital one is 600W - not good for my patience level....JustinW wrote:Sounds nice, but for $90 it better look good too. That's why I have this one.

請进,請坐,請喝茶!!!
I've used both at Imperial Tea - the steel is their normal tea pot (at least it used to be at the old Chinatown teahouse - now they just heat the water for you and serve it in the SS pot). The prototype I used of the digital worked quickly but as I say I haven't used this final one. It was cool to watch the numbers on the temp so I knew exactly what was happening.
I also think the SS is a good teapot - and good for its pouring control. But if I were ordering I'd get the digital because I personally liked its design, easy to pour, etc.
