It's one of the lower elevation tea-growing regions in Ceylon. The light, lemony tea that is more often associated with Sri Lanka comes from the high elevations.

Thanks! I guess I read somewhere here the mention of high mountain Ceylons and I was intrigued. Ceylons were the starting place for me and I've come to wonder if I have ever really had an excellent one.

I am very excited for Shincha since this will be my 'first' year ordering a Spring harvest since I joined TC! Wow, and I never realized alllllll the choices and vendors that are available to us. :oops: I still have to make up my mind, toooo many choices. O-Cha &Den's are the top 2 vendors on my list. Better hurry so I don't miss out on the special offerings. 8)

BTW...TeaChat has not been good for my pocketbook. :shock:

Students and participants were able to look at the bows closely and even hold them. They were asked to wash their hands and take off jewelry though :)

There is also some awesome video about Tsujimura Shirō as soon as I get the link I will post it.
