It comes out generally pretty good, have to be careful not to scorch it or just over do it.
I also blend it with various fired grains as well. I use a lot of different grains found in Asain "tea." Rice, many kinds (genmai), Mugi (barley), Buckwheat. I do a lot of blending.

For those of us located in Seattle (and vicinity), Uwajimaya is having it's Sakura Sale. I just picked up Sugimoto's Houjicha (at $2 off)... Their flyer also advertises a good price on a Zojirushi air pot.
Not on sale (and not houjicha-related), but they have Den's Sakura Sencha available! I picked up two packs--should last me till my shincha order arrives
