I received my SA Genmaicha yesterday. I've only had it once, but so far it is excellent It seems to even include some Matcha powder.

The other day I actually pan-fired some kukicha I had then toasted some basmati rice and made a houji-kuki genmaicha? lol, it was definitely interesting. Not bad though! Would definitely recommend giving it a try though! :)

Not meaning to state the obvious, but if you like the restaurant tea so much have you thought about asking them if you can buy some off them?

Not yet, or at least I'll find out who makes it. The waitresses I've had there so far haven't spoken much English.

Geesh...if I would have just opened my eyes I would have seen your response to another inquiry above. Sorry about my over-look; honestly, I've been scrolling down the TC postings for so many days in a row for so many hours that I may be losing my mind

....still in pursuit of knowledge thanks for everyone's patience!
